Program Qualifications
A person who graduates from the Master's program in Business Administration (Thesis-based) in Turkish:
- Based on undergraduate qualifications, develops and deepens expertise in one of the following areas: management, production, marketing, accounting, finance, human resources.
- Explains the interaction of their field with related disciplines.
- Possesses the ability to transfer knowledge related to their field to employees and team members.
- Has the ability to analytically and systematically analyze, interpret, and evaluate information related to the field.
- Has the ability to interpret data, analyze it, identify problems, and propose solutions by using the knowledge gained in the field in their decisions, actions, and behaviors.
- Possesses the leadership and managerial skills necessary to effectively and efficiently achieve business goals.
- By gaining entrepreneurial characteristics, can plan necessary activities such as starting a new business with innovative and creative thinking, taking risks for business sustainability, sourcing, conducting market analysis, and preparing business plans, and can independently carry out tasks that require expertise in the field.
- As a project leader or participant, can take responsibility according to project goals.
- Can establish interdisciplinary and multicultural teams for the organization/institution, define vision, goals, and objectives, design and analyze a business at an organizational level, work effectively with different disciplines or multicultural teams, take responsibility, and use initiative in problem-solving.
- Can critically assess the knowledge and skills acquired, be open to innovation, change, and lifelong learning.
- Can communicate their thoughts and suggestions related to their field to relevant parties both in writing and orally, design research and make recommendations, prepare and present research reports, and effectively use the methodological knowledge gained in scientific research.
- Can communicate with those conducting research in the field, manage relations with stakeholders of the organization/institution effectively, and analyze these relations.
- Can use at least one foreign language at the B2 level of the European Language Portfolio to communicate both orally and in writing.
- Can use computer software, information, and communication technologies at an advanced level to perform data entry and analysis related to work areas.
- Can behave in accordance with organizational/institutional, business, and social ethical values.
- Can develop problem-solving vision using case study methods in business management and contribute with original works to studies related to the field.
- Can track and evaluate the changes and developments in the interdisciplinary national and international dimensions of business management, and has sufficient awareness on issues such as the universality of social rights, social justice, quality and cultural values, environmental protection, occupational health and safety, corporate social responsibility, and social transformation.
